SLX is looking for a highly passionate and enthusiastic Partnership Manager. Working in a dynamic and sustainable business environment, you will be responsible for identifying and collaborating with the right partners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high energy environment with an ability to deal with ambiguity. The candidate should possess both a strong business development and account management background that enables him or her to drive engagement with partners & stakeholders.
He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to onboard & programmatically manage partnerships covering a wide range of topics. He/she should also be prepared to develop and execute against a high growth plan. This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever-changing business climate.
This role is based out of Fribourg/Bern and requires some travel.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build and grow a strong network of partners and affiliates for different SLX communities.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions for SLX communities.
- Developing and executing strategic alliances and identifying partnership opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating the benefits of association.
- Drive engagement & adoption by partners to scale business growth.
- Focus should be on deepening relations with partners by looking at opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Curate and manage campaigns, events, meet-ups, and conferences to drive the motivation, retain the interest and attention of members and partners.
- Quick learner of new technologies and adapting to new workflows and business processes.
- Bring to light latent potential by being analytical and presenting business insights.
- Engaging with and making connections with people and Swiss organisations at the Cantonal and Federal level as well as with International organizations and NGO’s.
- Design & deliver partner-centric experiences and interactions based on common interests and partner company growth goals.
- Delivering assigned projects in collaboration with the Community team from time to time.
- Being proactive about solving problems and taking additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
Required qualifications
- Master’s degree in Management, Economics or Social Sciences.
- 5 to 10 years of work experience spanning both the corporate as well as non-profit sectors.
- Ability to work with multiple stake holders and in a multi-cultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, French and German (verbal & written).
- Previous experience in handling roles such as Strategy/ Partnerships/ Relationship Management/ Stakeholder Engagement/ Fundraising.
The following would be considered an added plus:
- Knowledge of a non-European language.
- Education or work outside Switzerland.
- Experience with data analytics & BI tools.
